Premier hotels offering extended-stay services target only first-class travelers despite the strong demand for new suites in the extended stay market. This underscores the need for an economy brand that will offer extended-stay services to ordinary travelers. Several factors must be considered to ensure the success of this brand. These include the quality of its direct sales force and the perceived price/value relationship of extended-stay-style hotel rooms.
