Article Abstract:

The passage of the Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1994 was the sum total of four years of effort to revise the bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978, which was the first significant modification of the bankruptcy laws that date back to 1898. It is important that real estate professionals understand the new rules, which among other things, include major changes that indirectly or directly affect the real estate industry.
