Article Abstract:
The office property market in Swansea, Wales, has been revived by the purchase by Cable & Wireless of Matrix Court, a large industrial building. This building has now been converted into a call centre. Highbridge Properties and Ironbridge Estates have now been encouraged to being work on the 60,000 sq ft Waterside Business Park development, the first phase of which will be completed by Jan 2001. Swansea council has seven principal development targets. These include Castle Quays, the Wind Street leisure development by Mansford Wales and Brunswick Holdings and the National Maritime Museum of Wales.

There is a lack of new office accommodation, but there are plans to build two leisure developments. In Worthing, England, there is limited demand for office space, as well as limited supply, and there is also a shortage of industrial property. In Horsham, England, there have been many office and retail property deals recently.
