The right item at the right time

Article Abstract:

Swiss Army Brands Ltd. entered the wristwatch business in 1989, not expecting that its watches would become one of its most popular items. In 1994, the company sold $65 million worth of watches, including many catalog sales. The company now sells its watches internationally, and is expected to continue attracting rugged, outdoors types to its fold.
