Purchasing a printer can be an involved task since there are numerous criterion to consider, such as print quality, amount of printer random-access memory (RAM) and emulation modes, and a vast array of printers to choose from. A directory of printers, imagesetters and printer accessories for the Apple Macintosh, IBM PC-compatibles and Unix systems is provided. Products are organized according to the following categories: Adobe PostScript laser printers and controllers, PostScript-compatible laser printers, printer controllers and software interpreters, non-PostScript laser printers, color Adobe-PostScript printers, color printers, imagesetters, ink-jet printers, printer spoolers, printer-sharing devices and laser printer accessories. The directory includes the publisher's name and address and the product's list price.
