Joachim Muller-Lance, a type designer and a graphic designer has a habit of creating unusual and totally unexpected designs. His Kanji typeface Shirokuro concept of interlocking shapes of black and white within a square is a rare idea just like his bilingual ambigram that can be read backwards and forwards, upside-down or in a mirror.
