Article Abstract:
The most common problems that can happen to speakers includes microphones that have been improperly wired or handled, incorrect lighting or computer programs that freeze. Leave the lights on, but lower, during a speaker's presentation, so that the audience is not totally in the dark, and does not fall asleep. Keep a backup computer or backup procedure in place before a presentation, because computers are known to freeze up during a presentation. Keep a backup for every piece of equipment used in a presentation. Do not rely too heavily on equipment in the first place. Plan ahead.
