The 1994 merger between Ammirati & Puris (A&P) and Lintas gave A&P access to an international advertising network and elite clients while providing Lintas with high-powered creative capabilities. The merger went all the more smoothly because there was no conflict over the agencies' clients which included UPS, Master Card, BMW, RCA and Compaq. When it took over Lintas' New York office, A&P replaced the predominant corporate culture. A&P/Lintas landed Epson's $30 million account as its first joint client.
