The referential Thinking Scale as a measure of schizotypy: Scale development and initial construct validation

Article Abstract:

A measure of schizotypic referential thinking has been developed, involving a questionnaire incorporating a range of referential thoughts and experiences. The Referential Thinking Scale (REF) shows sufficient internal consistency and strong links with other schizotypy measures. It shows minimal links with acquiescence, social desirability and sex, and does not seem to asses normative personality constructs involving increased self-awareness.
