Article Abstract:

This article examines the relationship between resting energy expenditure and plasma leptin levels during refeeding in teenage girls with anorexia nervosa. The authors, measuring resting energy expenditure, plama leptin levels, and body surface area, conclude resting energy expenditure after long term refeeding is not related to changes in plasma leptin levels, but is related to body surface area.
