These four treatments were problem-solving skills training, parent management training, functional family therapy and multisystemic therapy. Problem-solving skills training highlights cognitive processes related to social behavior while parent management training involves transforming parent-child interactions. Functional family therapy focuses on changing interactions, communication and problem-solving among family members. On the other hand, multisystemic therapy look at the individual, family and extrafamilial systems.
