Article Abstract:
Ordinary people's perceptions of various economic concepts and judgments of the economic system held by Poles and what the ideal socioeconomic system should be, are investigated. Findings indicate that people generally group issues commonly experienced whether or not they have economic significance or possess a logical order. The Poles indicate only moderate support for the national economy's pro-market transformation. Economic well-being is associated more with education and less with income.
