Peer and self-evaluation of teamwork skills

Article Abstract:

Students at high school need to learn teamwork skills and peer evaluation since these skills are increasingly used by corporations. The Peer and Self-Evaluation System is an approach that gives teachers information of students' views of group interaction. Students are able to identify teamwork skills of their peers and themselves, and record them. Students can then obtain confidential feedback on their performance The system has been field tested using 300 students from high school, and it has been found to be effective.
