Factor validation of the addiction severity index scale structure in persons with concurrent disorders

Article Abstract:

Confirmatory factor analysis is used to test the scale structure of the Addiction Severity Index (ASI) in a sample of 1,802 substance abusers with a concurrent psychiatric disorder. The 5-dimensional model based on the evaluation indices (EI) was moderately correlated with the interviewer severity ratings from the Addiction Severity Index (ASI).

Reliability and validity of the women's health initiative insomnia rating scale

Article Abstract:

Evaluation of the reliability and construct validity of the 5-item Women's Health Initiative Insomnia Rating Scale (WHIRS) in two studies is presented. The results reveal that differences in objective indicators can be detected by the WHIRS.

Factor structure and measurement invariance of the women's health initiative insomnia rating scale

Article Abstract:

The development of the Women's Health Initiative Insomnia Rating Scale (WHIRS) by surveying 66,269 postmenopausal women is discussed. No major differences were noticed in the factor structure across age and race-ethnic groups.
