Development and validation of the stephenson multigroup acculturation scale

Article Abstract:

The development of the Stephenson Multigroup Acculturation Scale (SMAS) is described and its psychometric properties evaluated. A 2-factor solution was generated with item refinement resulting in a 32-item variation of the SMAS. The 2-factor model gave a close approximation to observed data.

Measurement properties of the center for epidemiologic studies-depression scale in a homeless population

Article Abstract:

The measurement properties of the Center for Epidemiologic Studies-Depression Scale (CES-D) scales used with an adult homeless population were assessed. Overall results support CES-D as a reliable tool to measure depressive symptomatology.
