An investigation of continuity and change in the evaluation of ideal and acceptable body sizes across a wide subject age span is presented. There was a continuity across a wide age range in approval of body sizes in the midrange from very thin to obese body sizes.

Article Abstract:

A study conducted examined comorbidity and clinical correlates of eating disorders in a large sample of individuals with body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). Eating disorders appear relatively common in individuals with BDD.
