Article Abstract:
An attempt is made to examine sample of 778 male sex offenders, assessed over a time period form 1960s to the 2000s on expressed desire for treatment, treatment attendance, and completion of at least one course of therapy. The results showed that the desire for and completing treatment had declined over the years and offenders who were substance abusers or had learning disabilities were more likely to enter treatment but were more likely to complete it than other offenders.
