Article Abstract:

The Syrian regime timely withdrawal from Lebanon, in compliance with the Security Council Resolution and the invasion of Iraq and the trouble over Lebanon have only reinforced Syrian patriotism. The Ba'ath Party's Tenth Regional Command Conference is expected to take place in June 2005, and there is a possibility that a domestic reform occurs at the conference regarding this Syrian regime.

Palestinians in Lebanon: Difficult past bleak future

Article Abstract:

The Palestinians living in Lebanon have uneasy relations with the government and face a bleak future. After the death of Yasser Arafat, the Palestinian leader, the new PLO leadership will be dealing with the United States for a fair and realistic solution of the refugees.
