Writer and filmmaker Hans Jurgen Syberberg was interviewed on his views regarding the German essence and other social issues confronting Germany after the unification. He says that Hitler was Germany's tragedy since he came to symbolize the country's ills and his memory continue to shape the country's future to some extent.
