Science fiction and the cultural logic of early post postmodernism

Article Abstract:

Technological innovation such as electronic media enables what was once defined as science fiction suddenly to become real epitomizing post postmodernism. Post postmodernism involves the hitherto science fictional impact of technology especially electronic media on society and culture and this social manifestation occurs when it alters patterns of perception steadily and without any resistance and what was once science fiction comprises the very definition of reality.

A number of blues CDs have come out since 2002 conveying sharp anger at the US President George W. Bush's far right Presidential agendas. These CDs are not only clear manifestos of resistance but are also notable artistically and creatively as they are ideologically, involving as they do some of the most proficient and expressive players in the blues including both African American and white musicians.
