From local to global: The changing face of the environmental challenge

Article Abstract:

The factors, which act as drivers behind the globalizing of environmental policy since 1980, are analyzed. It is concluded that the world needs a multi-tier environmental governance body that ' thinks globally, acts globally' as well as regionally, bilaterally, domestically and locally.
