Article Abstract:
Andreas Papandreou was not, for the most part of his political life, popular with the US administrations because of his sympathy for the Arabs and the Cubans. He was an outspoken Socialist, which was another black mark against him in the US perception. Papandreou was one of the best leaders modern Greek has ever had.

Article Abstract:
The US should strive for a balance between the working class and the wealthy, such as the one which it achieved in the 1940s prior to the enactment of the Taft-Hartley Act which hindered labor organizing. Anti-union legislation have created a gap between employers and workers.
