Coty to purchase Revlon

Article Abstract:

Coty Inc. is planning to purchase all or part of Revlon, according to a report in the New York Times. Negotiations are denied by both companies. The move would make Revlon a part of Netherlands-based consumer products company Beckiser NV. Revlon has had troubling results for sometime. Coty has been seeking this kind of cosmetics brand to compliment its fragrance business.
