Article Abstract:

A trip aboard the square-rigged sailing ship 'Star Flyer' is described. The ship had 200-foot masts and rigging, and caused a shiver of excitement even before the sails were raised. The travelers were taught the skills of sailing, and the crew represented some 23 nationalities.

Pachyderm polo: here's a sport that gives new meaning to 'big game.'

Article Abstract:

The experience of playing elephant polo in Nepal is described. The game, which is played aboard four-ton Asian elephants, was originated in the 1930s by Indian maharajas. Unfortunately, the InnerAsia Infidels team lost its three tournament games.
