War vets win battle of benefits

The Superior Court of Ontario in a class action suit decided that the federal government was liable to plaintiffs and their families for breach of fiduciary trust in failing to invest or pay interest on, or, in confiscating the accumulated money of disabled war veterans.

Call of the city lures vets to pet practice

An increasing number of veterinarians are choosing to establish practices in cities to care for domestic pets, rather than care for cattle and other farm animals. Rural areas are especially hard hit by the lack of qualified vets.
