A year after the Iraq war began in 2003, the Americans mourned for their dead soldiers but ignored the deaths of Iraqi civilian. There were hundreds of good Iraqis who deserved the acknowledgement of loss of their loved ones and the Americans ignored them at their peril.

China is modernizing rapidly, as Chinese consumers are embracing locally inspired western styles and shunning their traditional style. Chinese pride their heritage and it is assumed that one day they will leave western style and go back to Chinese styles.
