Article Abstract:

The 25-year-old son of John and Josie Politano died from AIDS in 1986. Rather than withdraw from life, the Politanos, while in their early 60s, adopted a two-month old, HIV-positive baby. The Politanos feel the child has brought life and love back into their family.
