The two Mr. Clintons

Article Abstract:

President Bill Clinton by many accounts is a man of two faces, one of substance and one of scandal. He revolutionized the way a politician wins the trust of the public and the presidency. He is credited with such accomplishments as lowering welfare rolls and crime, enabling poor workers to earn more, making community colleges virtually free, passing gun control laws, helping American businesses, and reducing the federal deficit. However, history will also remember him as a president who lowered the standards of presidency when he carried on a sexual relationship with Monica Lewinsky and then lied about it under oath.
