Support for all political parties remained relatively stable in spite of animated debate over the federal government's proposal of a goods and services tax (GST), a May Bulletin Morgan poll indicated. Support for a GST was divided among party lines. The poll was taken before Sen. Brian Harradne announced his decision to reject a GST.
