TSE raises ATS fears with OSC

The Toronto Stock Exchange, which is led by president Richard Nesbitt, is attempting to challenge the growing marginalization of its regulatory role as major banks become more powerful in Canada. TSE, which is lobbying the Ontario Securities Commission over such developments, is concerned over bank-owned alternative trading systems.
