Mightily cheesed off: a proposal to ban raw-milk cheese draws scorn

Health Canada issued new regulations that take effect in Jun 1996, that would ban unpasteurized cheese that has not been heat-treated. The regulations are an attempt to prevent outbreaks of salmonella. Cheese connoisseurs lambasted the new regulations.
