Parts makers target China's auto boom: Tesma to open factory this year

Tesma International Inc., the engine and transmission parts division of Magna International Inc. would open a factory in China in 2004. Tesma's first manufacturing operation in China will start shipments later in 2004, as its small plant will supply engine belt tensioners to Volkswagen AG.

Linamar pumping $1.1-billion into Ontario
