Parts firm will help workers offset cost of health care levy

Article Abstract:

The new health levy that reinstates Ontario Health Insurance Plan has given rise to a fight over the payment of the premium, and has created tensions in a number of workplaces throughout Ontario. Cooper Standard Automotive Canada Ltd., an auto parts company, has entered into an agreement with the United Steelworks of America to pay its employees $200 per year to offset Ontario's new health care premium.
