Several online retailers are making it difficult for consumers to return unsatisfactory products bought via the Internet. This difficulty is felt even if the online stores own a counterpart physical store location because some of the online retailers operate their Web sites and their stores separately. A number of store managers are already frustrated about the negative impact that returns are doing to their businesses, although some retailers such as Best Buy, Wal-Mart and Barnes and Noble are taking different approaches to address the issue.
