Article Abstract:

Former Iraq dictator Saddam Hussein and his cronies managed to skim several hundred million dollars from the wheat trade with Australia before the Coalition of the Willing put them out of business in 2003. The Australian Wheat Board Ltd's success in building its wheat trade with Iraq is being revealed as Australia's mess which is so convoluted and damaging to its reputation that the federal government has been forced to convene a royal commission of inquiry in an effort to get to the bottom of it.

Article Abstract:

Australian Prime Minister, John Howard and Australian treasurer, Peter Costello are trying to reduce expectations of further tax cuts. Their problem is that expectations have risen by increasing public debate among Liberal MPs about the need to reform the personal tax regime, particularly marginal rates.
