Article Abstract:

Researchers at the University of Alberta, the Canadian Space Agency and Vancouver, BC-based MacDonald Detwiler are developing a $1.4 million satellite-based medical system. The teleophthalmology system allows physicians to treat patients with eye disease via satellite communications.

Exercise cuts breast-cancer risk by a third, Canadian study says
