Herbal product dealers and makers complain that Canada's Health Protection Branch is being far too harsh in its increased denial of federal drug marketing approvals to herbal and traditional remedies. They also fear that the Codex Alimentarius, dominated by industry, will further restrict them.

Excessive heat and humidity are major issues for athletes and spectators alike at the 1996 Summer Olympic in Atlanta, Georgia. Temperatures have averaged 31 degrees Celsius, and although most athletic teams have spent time acclimatizing, spectators may not be so well prepared.

Boys, girls and brainpower: the sexes differ in more than appearance

Article Abstract:

Research conducted by McMaster Univ psychologist Sandra Witelson and colleagues lends support to the view that there are marked gender differences in brain function. Witelson has found sex differences pertaining to dyslexia, temporal lobe size, and cerebral laterality.
