Owing to low unemployment rates and ageing leaders approaching retirement, there seems to be an impending leadership shortage, and organizations are creating internal recruitment offices, grooming executives with liberal arts degrees, and encouraging potential leaders to do MBAs so that they can take up senior posts which are expected to fall vacant.
