First lady of Paris

In Paris, the Museum of Fashion and Textiles is having an exhibition of White House gowns, suits and other articles of clothing once owned by former US First Lady the late Jacqueline Kennedy. She is one of the few American cultural figures about whom the French feel affectionate.
