Enbridge takes a team approach

Article Abstract:

Enbridge Consumers Gas, a natural gas utility based in Toronto, Ontario, has developed a highly successful return-to-work policy that has reduced absenteeism among its 3,700 workers by a quarter. The company's return-to- work policy assumes that employees who got sick or are disabled would want to go back to work and would need some support. The policy also assumes that only a few employees would actually be abusing disability pay or any income security system.
