DirecTV has entered into a partnership agreement with Blockbuster to jointly offer pay-per-view movies to DirecTV's subscribers. Thus, subscribers to the cable channel will no longer have to go to the video store. The transaction calls for rebranding the movies to be called Blockbuster Direct Ticket. The price for the films will be approximately $3.50 and around 12 titles will be made available on a daily basis.

The alliance with StreamSearch.com will position Go.com in an age where users themselves search for files to download and play. Go.com's primary objective in teaming up with the search engine is to concentrate on entertainment and leisure.

Automobile manufacturer Saturn and Internet auctioneer eBay have entered into a partnership agreement which is aimed at luring new customers. The agreement involves Saturn dealers' inspection of used vehicles being sold on eBay to assure nervous online buyers of the quality of what they are buying. The extensive inspection report will provide car sellers with a powerful tool to appeal to buyers and will give 400 dealerships a chance to impress the sellers to win more business from them.
