Article Abstract:

Polygraph tests conducted on convicted murderer, Andrew Mallard proved that he was telling the truth when he denied his hand in the killing of jeweler Pamela Lawrence but Australian courts do not accept polygraph tests as evidence. The results of the tests are in direct contradiction to the statements in the possession of the police where Mallard has confessed to the killing and his lawyers say that Mallard was merely repeating suggestions of the police at that point in time.
