Canadians just want to be home, poll finds

Article Abstract:

An October poll conducted by Goldfarb Consultants found that more Canadians would prefer to live and work in Canada rather than the United States. The U.S. economic conditions, the September 11 terrorist attack, and wanting to be closer to family were reasons given by interviewed Canadians.

Bush presents drug plan

Republican presidential candidate George Bush spoke to elderly Americans of his plan to lower the cost of prescription drugs under Medicare. Senior citizens have to travel to Canada where these drugs are cheaper by 40% to 90%.
