The US' slowing economy has changed the fortunes of Warren Buffet and Abby Joseph Cohen. Buffet is back in fashion again, with Berkshire Hathaway's shares up by 51%, while Nasdaq is down by 61%. During the bull market of the 1990s, observers say Buffet has lost his touch for ignoring tech stocks. On the other hand, Cohen who was very much in vogue during the bull run of the 1990s, now seems to have fallen out favor with Wall Street.

Lehman moves its offices into Sharaton hotel

Article Abstract:

The brokerage firm of Lehman Brothers has rented all 650 rooms of the Sheraton Manhattan hotel in midtown Manhattan. The company's headquarters across the street form the World Trade Center has been closed for safety reasons.
