Booming sales don't keep firms on-line

Article Abstract:

A new study of the electronic commerce sector by Statistics Canada reveals that Canadian companies are retreating from online operations despite growth in online sales. The study reports that online sales increased from $4.2 billion in 1999 to $7.2 billion in 2000.
