Thai International Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines Ltd. and Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. have been accused of dumping excess capacity in Australia. The new competitive market threatens both Quantas Airlines' long-term market share and the viability of Ansett Airlines international operations. Asian carriers deny the charges and claim they are taking up rights they are entitled to under aviation agreements.
