A security craze on Parliament Hill

Article Abstract:

Parliament Hill should remain open despite the dangers. Making Parliament Hill more secure by closing it to foot and vehicle traffic would represent a step toward making Canada more like the rest of the world. Canadians should think like Canadians, not like others would have Canadians think.

The Canadian arts community can adapt to a decrease in government grants by attracting more financial support from audiences. Some arts institutions have become so dependent on subsidies that they are in danger of extinction.
