2nd Member Of Board Resigns At Disney

Article Abstract:

Walt Disney Co. board member Stanley P. Gold resigned from the board of directors, and supported the efforts of Roy E. Disney to replace CEO Michael Eisner. Gold and Disney believe that Eisner has contributed to the company's declining finances and the departure of important creative personnel. Eisner seems to have substantial support on the board, but the two former board members believe their campaign to oust the chairman will succeed eventually.
