Australian small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are expected to have an interesting period to look forward to in the wake of Coalition's fourth consecutive victory and the shift, to a Senate controlled by the government. The Prime Minister, John Howard and Workplace Relations Minister Kevin Andrew are working on reintroducing 28 pieces of industrial relations legislation favoring the SMEs that were blocked by the Senate since 1996.
