Article Abstract:
Manufacturers of children's strollers and carriers have delayed reporting acidents caused by their products to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Cosco reported about the incidents only after CPSC learned of the problem on its own and recalled the strollers, which caused over 200 injuries, one year after 3,000 complaints started coming in. Hasbro is also guilty of the same failure to report seven skull fractures caused by its carriers.

The most common injury, which accounts for 29% of incidents, was a fracture, usually of the arm or hand. The agency suggests that scooter users wear helmets, kneepads and elbow pads.
